The Carla Wax design aesthetic began in her mother’s closet at age 7. The obsession with playing “dress up” has evolved into a never ending love affair with style. Carla sees accessories not only as essential to any wardrobe, but as a true expression of her creative self.

Carla’s sense of style has always revolved around the same equation: 10% function, 90% fashion. Her eclectic and surprising mix of modern and vintage inclinations lends itself well to the pieces she now creates.

Carla began her fashion career as a clothing designer in Europe, developed it further in Montreal, and eventually found her way to Toronto where she continues to cultivate her two greatest passions, her family and her work.
